You're invited to attend our January 24th luncheon, Cleveland Emerging on World Stage as a Convention and Tourist Destination! In December 2017, Cleveland was one of three U.S. cities to be added to the 2018 “Best of World” list published in National Geographic magazine. The travel magazine compiled a list of 21 destinations worldwide for adventurers who are searching for new and unusual sights, sounds, food dishes, and more. This isn’t the first time that Cleveland has been singled out recently as a tourist and convention attendees’ dream city. One year ago, a Forbes magazine headline proclaimed “Why Cleveland is America’s Hottest City Right Now,” and pointed out that the city’s rebirth has been happening at street level for years. How did we do it? How do we maintain it? What’s next?
Our presenter is Dave Johnson, who is in his eighth year as the Director of Public Relations and Communication for the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland and Global Center for Health Innovation, managed by SMG.
