Our September speaker, Jon Pinney, recently inspired new economic discussions amongst civic leaders by delivering a thought-provoking speech at the City Club on June 8th titled, "Dead Last: Northeast Ohio's Economy is Lagging and It's Time To Do Something About It!" It was in response to a recent Business Insider ranking of the top 40 metro areas on economic strength. Unfortunately, Cleveland was ranked "Dead Last."
